Title: Patricia Stevens (nee Osborne) 1926-1998 - colour version please
Post by: Avondale16 on Sunday 04 March 18 19:34 GMT (UK)
This is a picture (my favourite) of my mum & it would be great to have a colour version.

She had dark brown hair & brown eyes.

I'm thinking she is 18 in this photo  :-\

What a beautiful colourisation of my lovely mum - hair & eye colours are perfect. It brought a tear to my eye  :'(

Thank you so much Rami

on behalf of one Pat to another - thank you for making her even more beautiful in colour.

I especially love her skin tone - so realistic

You are welcome...I would say that you are not far out with your guess. I should add that I have been reminded that Rosemary is for remembrance, however...Forget-Me-Nots are a symbol of love and fond memories  ;)

Even more appropriate when I read this:-
The Alzheimer’s Society uses it as an icon to raise awareness for the disease and support for caretakers. Mum had Alzheimer's for the last 7 years of her life & together with my dad I help care for her.

Yes indeed Pat. Whenever I post a photo I hope I might be lucky to get 1 or 2 improved/coloured images but I'm over-whelmed with the response. My thanks most recently to Tommy & Jloy for lovely versions.

I'm a lucky chap Gadget. She was a dear mum & spoilt me something rotten. ;)

I understand, Keith. My Mum had dementia. She spoilt me rotten as a little un - I was the 'baby' to her until she died.

We all miss our Mums however old we are.

Pat is right Keith...make a collage of them all and print them off, light a candle and raise a glass of wine in her honour on Mother's Day this Sunday  ;)
