Can anyone help
I have a census result in Belfast showing Christy and Adelaide in 1911, with their 2 children - Chrsity and Adelaide.

I have been able to find the birth for Adelaide - she is Catherine Adelaide and born at the address in the census.
I have also found a birth for a younger son John - born 9th May 1911.
I cannot find Christy and Adelaide's marriage or either of them in the 1901 census, I have tried searching both Ireland and England.
Their son John is baptised in St Matthews in Belfast and he married Bridie Savage in 1942.

Possibly this family, if so, like her daughter her full name is Catherine Adelaide.

I think this is them in Scotland in 1901, but Catherine Adelaide isn't with them. I'm guessing Mary E Watson is their dau, now married.

One part of the mystery solved!
Now for Christopher Kelly
I have found a birth in August 1871 for a Christopher Kelly in Guiness, Co Down to a Christopher Kelly and Mary McCann.
This is a different Christopher to the one in Guiness in 1901, as his father is Hugh.
So I am hopeful that this is the correct Christopher!!

Have you had a look at the Scottish marriage cert - what are his parents' names?

I have got the certificate and it proves that Christophers parents are Christopher Kelly and Mary McCann, so the above birth is correct!

I have found a birth in August 1871 for a Christopher Kelly in Guiness, Co Down to a
Christopher Kelly and Mary McCann.
So I am hopeful that this is the correct Christopher!!
Not sure if you are looking for his parents marriage I'm wondering if this is the correct one
I think Mary's surname maybe wrongly transcribed and should read McCann :-\

I was indeed looking for the marriage, unfortunately it is pre 1864, so no parents names etc but the names of the children are useful.
All this was an attempt to prove someone I know is related and how they are related, but without getting further back looks like I won't know, I will keep trying though!
My gg grandfather is William Kelly (born c. 1840,residence Backaderry, Castlewellan, Co Down, at time of marriage in 1873) and his father is John Kelly, but I haven't been able to get further than this and I was hoping tracing Kelly relatives backwards might help but it hasn't!
Time to try another route!
