Title: Thomas Tobutt b1764 poss Surrey

I am currently searching for the parents of Thomas Tobutt, a farmer born in 1764 possibly in Surrey/Sussex. He lived most of his life in Ruislip, Middlesex and married an Elizabeth Pritchard. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thomas Tobit baptised 24 June 1764 Bletchingley, Surrey. Parents John and Elisabeth.

Thomas Tobutt Married Elizabeth Pritchard 1792 in Ruislip

in 1841 he was a agri labourer in Ruislip

John Tobit married Elizabeth Miller 2nd October 1761 in Horley ,Surrey - 7 miles from Bletchingley -
other children
2nd july 1762 John
14th sep 1766 Elizabeth

so although the marriage has John Tobut to Elizabeth Miller - the 3 children are christened Tobit ...maybe the curate wasn't exactly the best speller in the world ?
looking at www.geneanet.org - the spelling is mostly Tobutt - Surrey County is full of them
