Which aspects of his life are you seeking information about (and when/where is your last sighting of him)?

Thank you avm228 and trish1120 you are both correct.  We know about the family but Walter mysteriously disappeared sometime around late 1906-7.  Was reputedly travelling to Bristol but we don't know if he arrived.  We know nothing after that.

Ah yes - I see that his mysterious disappearance was reported in the Chard & Ilminster News of Saturday 22 September 1906.  He was a coachman employed by a Dr Reynolds for the previous 6 or 7 years.  He had been up to Crewkerne Fair and stayed locally with his mother and then his brother. He was last seen on the Thursday when he was said to have travelled “by excursion train” to Bristol.  He didn’t return home and no trace had been found.

He was said to be of a happy and cheerful disposition, with no known troubles to worry him.

Crewkerne Fair seems to have taken place in the first week of September 1906, so his disappearance would have been on Thursday 6 September 1906.
