Title: Augustus George Bruce CLARK / Augustus Horatio CLARK / Fanny Bertha BARKER.
Post by: On track on Thursday 05 July 18 18:33 BST (UK)
Good evening !
I'm writing these lines from France.
Recently, I discovered that my ancestor was Augustus George Bruce CLARK (1817-1891, born in Scotland in Old-Aberdeen and died in France in Bordeaux).
I know that one of his sons, Augustus Horatio CLARK (1843-1931), and his wife Fanny Bertha BARKER (1841-1933) emigrated to Australia.
So, I'm writing this message hoping someone would be able to learn me informations about these persons and maybe also about their descendants.
I already consulted this interesting link:
https://www.theislandwiki.org/index.php/Descendants_of_Patrick_Clark
In advance, I thank you a lot to help me to complete my puzzle.
Kind regards,
E.B.

Hi EB,

I can photograph this probate packet for you next time I am at the Archives if you don't have it.  The probate packet will have a will, should have a death certificate, details of heirs and also assets.

Hello EB,

I was trying to trace my Clark ancestors through my great grandfathers death notice. My family is not very good at keeping records.

Charles Clark had  very little about him. I was really struggling to find information. I eventually got some info and it turns out, Charles Clark born, 14 Nov 1847 is the son of Augustus George Bruce Clark ,1817-1891. He moved to South Africa and died in Port Elizabeth in Oct 25 1934.

He is my 3 x grandfather.
I am a member of MY HERITAGE site. you are welcome to go look at my family tree.
Hope this helps
Philippa Kemsley, (Clark)
