Hi.
Mount Juilet, today is a 5* Hotel,  just outside Thomastown. before 1990 (?) it was a private family, it was owned by an English Family by the name McCalmount.

The Hotel has load of land attached to the Hotel. I remember when i was about 6 years old, (i am now 44) going there for a walk with my Grandmother, who lived in Thomastown. (i Live in Essex, UK).

There is a book called Mount Juliet- A History, which gives you a brief History

http://www.mountjuliet.ie/estate/   is a link to Mount Juliet website

Can anyone tell me, whereabout the 2nd Battalion of the royal Irish Regiment was  on 10th June 1916?

I do have the Battalion diary for the first few months of the war in 1914, but nothing after October 1914

Thanks

Does anyone have any photographs pf St Johns Lane, Bedminster, taken around 1945-46.
The reason i am asking, is that my Grandfather worked in the "Irish Camp" and died in St Johns Lane on 14th November 1946

I did contact the Archives in Bristol, but no luck
