OK I followed the link to the website and had a look around. there is an address to send enquiries to but it doesn't mention the cost so I e-mailed them to find out. I'll keep you posted. What does that mean, we get them for the olympics. Hockey is Canada's game and they belong in Canada but a bunch of New York lawyers thought they would be better of in the U.S. What a load of crap
Hi: I was wondering if I could get some help to find my G/Grandfathers (Thomas James Wingrove) service records. I know that he was stationed at the R M Barracks in Chatham in 1892 when he got married from his marriage license and was still there in 1901 from census records. I am told that he participated in the boxer rebellion in 1900 but I don't know what ship he served on or or anything else about his military record. I wolud also like to find some records of his oldest son Bernard Augustus Wingrove who served with the Royal West Kents during WW1 and was killed at the Somme in Mar. of 1916.
Is interestinger a word? if it is here is someting else my G/Grandfathers brother John Wetherill Harman ended up in Saskatchewan and his family went on to be the largest egg producers in Saskatchewan, by the way I live in Brantford
Hi Jane: My G/Grandfather was Charles Wetherilll Harman b. in Hunslet in 1871 so I'm very intersted in what you find out about Wetherill's. A quick note to Ronelson, I don't know if you live in Canada but Berlin Ontario is now know as Kitchener. It was changed after WW1, I know because I live about 30 mi. from there.
Hey there Jane: I'm sorry I didn't see your posting sooner because it turns out that Eleanor Harman b. 1869 in Hunslet is in fact the older sister of my G/Grandfather Charles Harman. Please get back to me and maybe we could share information. I recently found the family of their older brother John Harman who also ended up here in Canada. I just contacted them today and hope to hear back soon.
According to the the records I have William was born in Wooburn in 1832 and died in Hemel Hemstead ( where you guys just had that big fireball ) in 1887. I'm a liitle curious about Ann, if she was born in 1836 that means she was only 16 when she gave birth to Charles in 1852. That's a little creepy don't you think or was that normal back in those days?
