hello again
yes i have seen that if you go on free B m d u k you will find olive rose dec 1903 Dartford 2a 581 there is no death or marriage record for her in England. i do not know how the names were changed however they were only young when Barnados sent them. i also do not know why the brother stayed here with the mother. she is with sister Gertrude on the boat i believe i have this right having spent a long time looking for an alternative.

Hello Sandra
theirs some confusion over the names of the children born to Horace Boughton and Amy Godfrey they are olive rose 1903(ivy) Gertrude may 1906 and Sidney all christened in Dartford the names seem to have been confused by Barnados  Horace was my grandfathers brother their parents were George Boughton and Ann Bugden

hello cath151
I know about the family in england there is also a gertrude may baptised 1906 in 1911 they are in the care of barnados while sidney is still with his mother. Both olive and gertrude were sent to canada as home children  it is information about any chidren born to them in canada and also .whether descendants are interested in the family in england.  I have been having a rest from family history having got as far back as i feel i am able to go thought i would sort out some things i didnt get to before.
