Not sure what additional information I may gleam from a CRO look up but would appreciate if someone is available to lookup the marriage of:

Thomas Davies & Frances Owen on 02 Decemeber 1828 at the Parish Church of St.Elli, Llanelly.

Sorry for the delay in replying but have moved to sunnier climate and after 7mths eventually got back on the net!

Yes! These are my Davies clan as names and dates of birth and place names I recognise and that's about as far as I can go go back or is it!

I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction?

I have viewed census returns for 1851 and I can locate two sets of my gggrandparents:

Thomas Davies b.1791 / Frances Davies (nee Owen) b.1809

and Thomas Beynon b.1815 / Frances Beynon (nee Lewis) b.1806

Family folklore is that Thomas Davies worked as a farm laborer at Brondini Fach farm, at Five Roads, Llanelly. (which does exist); also the census return for 1851 shows Thomas Beynon as being a 'farmer of circa 360 acres' - quite substantial!

The question is where do I go from here? - is this the end of the road for me? - Or how do I go further back?

 8)

Many Thanks
