Thank you Isobel, that information certainly looks positive for the correct family, and is most helpful.  :)

Fife / James Anderson and Barbara Robertson

According to Family Search, J & B had a son called John Anderson 20.3.1836 born in Kinghorn.  (John married Jane Miller in 1861 and they emigrated to Australia possibly early 1890s, and both dec'd in Liverpool Aust by 1913).  I am seeking assistance with more information on his parents. Unfortunately I also do not know if John had siblings, which would perhaps help identify them on a census.   Thank you.

Yes. Alan, always a possible link.  However I have insufficient wherewithal to research in UK, and have also come to understand that Isaac Woods and Sarah Willsworth may not be Directly Related to the Mary Woods on the tree I am researching.  Good luck with your search though.

Emma seems to now be the only mystery, but that doesn't matter, as she is not a direct line.    Grateful for everyone's input.

Thank you for checking.  Solves the mystery of the introduction of Willsworth to the Forster family. Great work. :)

Sorry, no information about Mary Woods, only that she was apparently John Willsworth Forster's mother.  3 more generations after John carry Willsworth as a second Christian name in the line I am following.  Thank you for checking

Thanks everyone so much for all this help.   I have to say my research skills need a bit of a shake up as I had tried to find the entry into Australia several times without success.  Great to have a mystery solved.

Thank you for confirming/updating my information.   Were you able to check for 1841 and 1851 census for Joseph, by any chance?    I haven't been able to find his name on a passenger list coming into Australia, and it would narrow the search if I knew he was still in UK in 1851.   :)

In 1806, John Willsworth Forster was baptised in Barrowden, son of William Forster and Mary nee Woods who had married in 1804.  He married Catharine Shelton Swift in Barrowden etc.  Does anyone know where the "Willsworth" name originates?  thank you
