I am interested in any Morgans related to Richard Morgan and Jemima (Welton) (born c1779+-)  birthplace unknown.  Their only son I have found, Charles b c 1816 "London"  all his children born Bethnal Green 1845-1850.

The Common Room / bastardy orders
« on: Monday 03 May 10 07:33 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone know who the other person would be who is named on a bastardy order ? I see on the A2 website that not just the one I have, but quite a few others name 2 men responsible for support of the child.  Obviously the childs father is one - but is this other person the mothers father ?  It woud be very helpful to know who this would be.  (order is from Suffolk)

thanks

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Re: Louisa and George Biddlecombe in 1871
« on: Saturday 11 April 09 07:34 BST (UK)  »
This may help:
George Biddlecombes birth place is BLACKWATER that is Hampshire not Lancashire.
Found an IGI for a George Biddlecombe 01 Nov 1829 to JAMES and Charlotte Biddlecombe Frimley, Surrey.  Frimley is very close to Blackwater ! Also - try Googling Biddlecombe Frimley and someone else has another son of James and Charlotte who died in Paddington.....and the connection to the Pasterfield info on rootschat

Help!

I am wading through 50 possible deaths for my Elizabeth Morgan.  Last known address of her was Wheeler Street - which appears to be spitalfields.  This was the 1861 census - please can anyone tell me would this be Whitechapel in the free bmd records ?  Or is it Shoreditch, I am a bit confused where to start looking.

Thanks!
