Thanks for the reply.  Sorry, but I do no think your Luff's are in the same line as mine that I know of at this time.  They all do seem to have the same names though so that makes me wonder if there is SOME connection some where.  None of mine are a watch maker either.  Again, thanks for your time.

One never knows for sure.  ???  My LUFF's were also from other area's but this group began in Gedney.  What are the names of your LUFF's?

Looking for info on William Luff b. Nov 5, 1790 in or near Lincolnshire.  Son of Francis & Susannah Luff, believe he was a farmer.  Would like to find out who Wm married as I understand he married in England before coming to America in the mid 1830's.  Marriage date, wife's name, & any children born are what I need.  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Need help locating which port/vessel following people used when leaving Linconshire, possible villiage of Gedney:

William Luff b. Nov. 5, 1790 (wife unknown)
Charles Luff b. Aug. 16, 1804
Samuel Luff b. Oct 16, 1799 ( wife stayed in England with children)
Mary (Luff) Walton b.Aug 14,1796 & husband William Walton
