Thank you, for the reply.
I will certainly check it out. I live near Newmarket in Suffolk anyway, so getting there would be against  current COVID rules.
Thank you again

Hi all,
I have been looking for some information about an ancestor, James Sutton (1845-1874) who was admitted to Faringdon Union Workhouse I believe sometime after 1865, after a stint in the postal service. I was wondering does anyone know how/where I can access the admission records for this time or any records of his time there. Thank you in advance.

Hi
I am trying to find workhouse details for my ancestor Hannah Ross and her daughters. Hannah is stated as a pauper in Alwick, St Pauls, London workhouse in 1851 census. Her daughter Susanna Esther Ross is 4 and is there along with her sisters.
Do you know where I can find more information about this, registration records etc?
Thanks in advance
Julie

Hi can anyone help shed some light on Henry Ralph Sutton Service No: 1448666
I have a reference fro National archives of Air 78 153/2 but when searched only one person comes up.A female.
My daughter (her grandfather) and I are just trying to find a little bit more about him. At one point he was stationed at Uxbridge according to his mothers probate
