 Trying to trace family history.

Margaret Johnstone born April 1919 nr Kelso. Family lived in Haynes (Haines) House possibly in Selkirk or Duns. Family (Johnstones & Turnbulls)owned farm, woolen mill and sawmill. An ancestor married a lord. Margaret married A.Elliot had a daughter, Also named Margaret. Margaret Elliot nee Johnstone also had a son Alexander. Margaret then relocated alone without her husband to Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1946. Gave birth to Evelyn in 1946 followed by two more daughters, Kathleen and Joyce. Margaret Elliot married Robert Brown formerly from Duns.

Margaret Johnstone was cremated at Newcastle Crematorium 19/04/05, named as Margaret Scott Brown.

I'd like help locating any family history, names etc. I'd also like to find out if Margarets first husband is still alive or if he has any living relatives.

The wool mill produced a well known brand that still exsists today. My Grandmother used to tell me about it but the name escapes me. ???
