Have you noticed the living nextdoor to Mary and William on the 1841 census are a Sophia Fisk age 25 and a Francis Fisk age 60 neither born in county.
Wondering if they are related. Struggling to find anything else on these two

Does anyone think there a possibility that this is Elizabeth in 1881 mis-transcribed?
It fits with her age - birth place - a widow (if William died in 1877) and occupation nurse.
At the moment I cannot see any other reference to this Eliza Knott

Hampshire & IOW Lookup Requests / Baptism look up please

Hi
Would someone be able to kindly look up a baptism on FindMyPast for me?
Frustratingly is the only place I have been able to find it and I do not have a subscription.
It is for a Maria Cooper 1801 in Nether Wallop.
Trying to track her parents down for a DNA link.
Many thanks in anticipation

Dorset / Re: PRIDDY families in Dorset early 1800's. Where have they all gone?

On familysearch.org Surrey parish registers
I found a marriage between William Priddy and Hannah Mabey on 9th February 1827 at St Marys Church Rotherhithe
Both were single
Witnesses Charlotte Priddy and Henry Mabey
There is a burial of a William Priddy in Stepney in May of that year - May have been him.

Is this a clue or complete red herring ??? ???
Census of 1861 RG 9/390/75/p 23
Living in Rotherhithe
Is this something to do with Hannah’s family a Mary Mabey B.1785 Lother Dorset I suspect this should read Loders which is a couple of miles from Bridport. She is with her son Henry ( born Rotherhithe) and his family

As Rosie says were  they single when they married?
Am I looking at their son James Borough Pope born 1844 Bermondsey- if so on the GRO mmn is Mabey. Could Hannah have been a widow ? Can you check their other children’s births?
