can anyone help its been quite a shock to find out my mum whom Ive know as jean Emily Louise smith nee parmenter for 45 years is actually Emily or Emma Louise parmenter and not jean this as really thrown me does this name sound familiar DOB 1931 in islington London

can anybody help please my greatgrandmother was born in cork but i can't find her anywhere her name was Emma Louise Chaney born abt 1875 she married my grgrfather i think in england he was Richard crane if this sounds familiar please let me know cheers

does anyone know of the parmenter family in islington London my mother is a PARMENTER.  My greatgrand father died in 1916 his wife remarried not sure when but  her new husbands  name was abery ,my ggfather had several children my gdad Ernest abt 1911, there was a Katie,dolly if this sound familiar let me know cheers.

I'm trying to trace my greatgrand parents Richard crane abt 1875 possibly Scotland and his wife Emma Louise Chaney cork ireland i know they had children born in islington London my Nan Ethel Victoria she married a Ernest patenter, Ethel was born 1906,there was a brother named William he married an ivy they had a son called peter. there was a sister called Josephine or possibly Geraldine hopefully this looks familiar to someone cheers.

i know this is a long shot but anyway my father was john Frederick smith his mother was rose savage he was born 1930- died 1989 his mum was born 1899 both in islington London i m stuck trying to find any thing on his dad also john Frederick smith aka brenchly he was born during his mum hop picking in Kent if this sounds familiar please let me know Ive hit a brick wall i managed to trace rose savages family back to 1822.

hope someone can help trying to find out who Alfred James Andrews is he is buried with my greatgrand parents who are Edward Andrew James savage and rose savage and their son john r savage Alfred died 1964 aged 75 that makes it he was born abt 1889 i think he may have been married to a savage
my ggfather abt 1876, my ggmother abt 1875 they are interred at islington London hope someone knows cheers

hi thanks for the replies my grandfather died in 1944 of cancer after being a pow (japanese) his name was john smith but I've been told he was known as john brenchly in his early childhood after the place he was born in kent? i don't know when he was born possibly 1899, don't know when he married my nan abt 1918 i believe as their first was born 1919 my Nan's maiden name was savage and her mums name was muckell both born islington London my Nan married twice after that a Edwards and a waterman no info there either i know its not a lot to go on but heres hoping
