Hello all,
I am still searching for more details of John and Harriet Anna , I know when they were born and where, I also know when they died.  I am trying to find their final resting places and it's difficult.
Any ideas where to search, have tried church secretary of parish where family were told they lay to rest (Llangloffan) records were searched, they are not there.

I can see the marriage I think you are referring to but do be careful about trying to go any further back without having proof that you are on the right family.
You can order certificates from the GRO https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp

Your grandmother's certificate would give you her mother's full maiden name. :)

Pembrokeshire / Morgans of St Nicholas

Hi all

Am having a bit of difficulty locating parents of my maternal Grandmother, I think as they were from St Nicholas and a lot is in Welsh this could be hindering me.  I do remember Tremhanir Farm being mentioned many years ago though and also Llanwnda Church.
Here's what I do know though!

Nan was Magwen Morgan, she was born January 20th 1920 and died Sept 17th 1987
She had brothers Morian and Illtyd and a sister Ceinwen who died quite young.  Nanny married my Grandfather William James Dundas Fairbairn (he's been much easier to trace)

I am getting confused to who her parents were and as my Mother and Grandmother have sadly passed away many years ago, when I had no interest in geneology I might add.

If anyone can help me with anything it would be marvelous.
Thank you in anticipation
Jayne

Good morning.
I have recently acquired a number of Wills of the Palmers along with Catherine Palmer-Woods we are trying to make the connections between the Palmers of Westbourne, Warblington, Stoughton, Singleton, Petworth, Parham etc. We are trying to find out why John Palmer and his family felt they could use the coat of arms of the Palmers of Wingham in Kent and Dorney Court in Hants. The son of John Palmer 1760-1733 George Thomas Palmer did marry into the Southcote family who are connected to the last mentioned.

I am a Palmer of Pembrokeshire, originally family came from whitby :)
