There's nothing in this advice about time-limit/provisional invitations.

If the tree named "no trees" shows in your list, it seems to be saying hat you've viewed it before. If you no longer can, it seems to mean that your access has been revoked by the owner. Despite them saying that it's public, it's clearly not (right?). Perhaps they just don't want to share with you any longer. I don't think it's controlled by any setting in your account.

I have no experience of it but did skip through the terms and conditions. Seems that deleting isn’t possible/allowed and everything uploaded becomes geni’s property to share with users.

The website says it's a collaborative "World Family Tree" so not personal to you. Much the same as FamilySearch.

I'd like an approximate date for the attached photo of a young English woman. It may be my great grandmother who was born 1865 and married 1884.
The reverse is a blank postcard of 5 x 3.5 inches (also attached).
To my mind, the style of clothing seems older than is apparently right for such a postcard. I thought it looked mid-1880s but such postcards are apparently >1900. Might an older photo have been reprinted?

Obviously she wasn't very good at it! 
My one amusing crime case was a relative’s wife who was in court for telling fortunes in her flat. She was fined.

Should surely be covered in its instructions/manual? What make/model is the camera? Is it linked to your wifi so "events" are also saved to a server/cloud?
