Census Lookup and Resource Requests / Re: 1901 CENSUS Edith Yeomans St Pancras
« on: Wednesday 05 July 17 11:33 BST (UK)  »
Thank you Ray, Jebber et al - you guys are all over it!

I had isolated Edith daughter of Fred and Elizabeth as a possible but have eliminated her since she is enumerated as a dressmaker still living at home in 1911.

A marriage of Edith Yeomans to Charles Dagnan in June Q 1927 piques my interest followed by her death in June Q 1934

Once again. Thank you all for your help.

Hi again Rootschatters

Edith Yeomans aged 18 is enumerated as a parlourmaid/servant in St Pancras in the 1911 Census.

Could someone please check:
her place of birth,
the name of the family where she is employed and
the address of the dwelling where she is employed

Many thanks

Many apologies - just noted the restrictions on 1911

Good day Rootschatters,

Edith Yeomans b.1893 is shown at the 1901 Census as a schoolgirl at what appears to be an educational institution in St Pancras London.  Could someone confirm this please?
Also her place of birth is recorded as Co Not Street?  I am suspecting Connaught Street but could someone provide some wisdom on this point please as well.

Kind regards

Thank you.

Jane would have been 35 in 1891. The ages I quoted were the likely ages in 1891 based on 1901 .  So all good.

Hi John,

The microfiche DE1784/8 confirms the baptism of Susannah, daughter of Mary Nutt on 28 December 1793 at Uppingham.  No mention of father.

I will check deaths/marrriages prior to this date.
