..Wow..you have just helped solve a great brickwall for me. Rosina arrived alone on the Llala Rookh then, I was not sure if it was her or not.

Rosina jnr is my 2nd great grandmother..the pirate history is interesting as further down this line is a convict from pirates and smugglers in Dorset.!

On Rosina jnrs death her father is stated at Thomas? Son Reginald was informant. This is where my confusion lay, I was looking for a Thomas Jones and not John Treanor Jones..

Rosina jnr's daughter Edith Jessie married a Roberts also from Goulburn, so it seems I have a lot of history in Goulburn re the Topham's, Blackshaws, Roberts and now the Jones's.

Family can be a fickled thing..I know..I was estranged from some of my family for 30 years and now thanks to Genealogy I have been reunited with them..it has been a wonderful thing in my life.

i have just come across these posts..very helpful.

I have been researching Thomas JONES who married Rosina CURTIS. Their daughter Rosina JONES is my ancestor. Rosina married William TOPHAM in Goulburn NSW. Rosina JONES death states she was born in Burrowa NSW to Parents as Thomas JONES farmer and Rosina CURTIS.

I have been having great difficulty in finding anything more on Thomas JONES...it seems that my Thomas and Rosina are the same as you have listed here..

I have found a death for a Thomas JONES 1884 Died in Burwoood from the district Burrowa...and there is a Will or something at the State archives NSW and I wasn't sure whether to get or not.

I am just touching the surface of this line so any help would be helpful and Rosina's 2nd marriage?

I am looking for any information on my ROSS family from Fearn.

Peter ROSS born to John ROSS and Katharine FORBES in 1818 Fearn. I believe there also was a son George ROSS. Katharine and John were married 27th September, 1816. That is all the info I have from Scotlands people.

Peter emigrated to Australia aboard the Lady McNaughton in 1839, and married Mary Ann Eagles. I would love to find more information on his family in Scotland if anyone has them in their tree.

Since posting I have found William 77 in 1881 Census, Birthplace Tipton, Stafford England, wife Harriet 75 birthplace Stratford on Avon, Warwick, daughter Louisa M, 38 born Rowley Regis Census place also Rowley Regis.Louisa would have been born around 1843. Don't know if any of this helps.
