If only I could understand written English!  Thank you, where did I get Buckinghamshire from?

Anyone else totally frustrated with the latest version of FTM?  Or is it just me?

Berkshire / Are Cholsey parish records available on CD?
« on: Tuesday 18 April 17 18:36 BST (UK)  »
Hello!

Does anyone know if Cholsey parish records are available on CD?

I know Cholsey was tranferred to Buckinghamshire in '74 but historically it was in Berkshire.

I've got the Berkshire parish records CD's for baptisms and marriages - Cholsey is not on them.  I've looked at the Buckinghamshire FHS shop and Cholsey isn't listed there either.

Help! (please)

Hello,

Anyone know if there's an online resource for researching police constables?  Just wondered.

First, thanks for the replies.

Stan - that might account for a possible registration for one individual although the given names are reversed.

ScouseBoy - unfortunately, no!

seaweed - I was unaware of that particular resource so many thanks for that.

Hello,

I now have two people in my tree who, according to census returns, were 'born at sea'.  There seems to have been no requirement to register such as I can find no birth entry for either individual.  Is there a way of discovering more?

Thank you.  Scarletfinders was a most interesting read.

Hello,

Does the CWGC maintain graves of nurses killed in WW1?  Or is there a register of them?
