Hi

I'm looking for information on the deaths of the following which were both registered in Newport.

Florence Maria Pauncefort-Munday, death registered 2nd quarter of 1933
Henry Clement Pauncefort- Munday OBE, death registered 1940

Surname could be either Pauncefort-Munday or just Munday.

Hi

Capt. Gerald Featherstone Knight MC died of cancer in the RAF Hospital, Eaton Sq, London in October 1919. His family were originally from Honiton but at the time of his death his Grandfather/Aunt were living at "Stanmore" Torquay, (G'F was the Rev Robert Knight). Is Stanmore an area of Torquay?

Hi

My Maternal Gt. G'Father, David Sims was born in 1868, on one census he is stated as having been born in Walworth, but on a distant relations family tree I have seen his place of birth given as 'Royal St Kenning To Surrey' any ideas??

Hi

I will certainly try to get an hour or two at the library, would you like any photos? I know that the village has changed a lot but the Church at least is still pretty much the same as it was way back when.

Hi Tieke

I have come across this family before but have not been able to tie Elizabeth with my family, who just seem to appear in BB in 1807 when my Gt Gt Gt G'Father was born there. Are you in the BB area?, I now live abroad but may be back for a few days later in the year and may get a chance to go to the library where I know there are copies of some early parish registers. I take it you are decended from Elizabeth?

Devon / John KNIGHT: Born Honiton C1808

Hi

I got interested in this family through Gerald Featherstone Knight who won the MC in the Great War and also made a successful escape from a POW camp in Germany, John was Geralds Gt. G'Father.

Can anyone give me any info on John, I have the census details but am looking for his parents, his date of birth & death, his wifes maiden name, when and where they married etc. John was an Alderman in Honiton in the 1860/70's.

Going back to Gerald, he died in October 1919, but I have been unable to find where he is buried, he had an aunt living in Torquay, is there an area of the town called Stanmore?
