Best wishes

Hi there,

I'm looking some information on Thomas Quinn who married Catherine kelter (or calter) in Armagh around 1810. They had a son also called Thomas Quinn born 18 April 1816 who married Eleanor (possibly Hughes) on 8 Jan 1845.

Any info would be really appreciated

Thanks

Phil

Hi Kim thanks for the reply.

I'm new to researching, but am sure that this James Downey and Catherine O'Neill are my great great grand parents.

Bernard Downey born around 1884 is my great grandfather. He married Elizabeth Kearney who died apparently during childbirth with their son Hugh around 1928. Bernard remarried a lady called Sarah, unfortunately I don't have a surname for Sarah.

My grandfather, son of Bernard and Elizabeth, is also called Bernard Downey.

I'm interested in any information at all.

Thanks for your help

Phil

Hi All

I'm really new at researching the family tree. I was wondering could someone verify what I have found? The further back I go I'm concerned that I'm not tracing the correct family.

Any help very welcomed

Best wishes

Hi Matt, how are you doing? I've been researching my family tree on and off for about a year, and have found that I have a Henry Quinn as my great great grandfather too. He was from Armagh and settled in Belfast around 1900 also.

Just wondering did you solve your problem above and if you have any info that may help me connect some dots too?

Best wishes

Phil Quinn
