Cheshire Lookup Requests / Thompson family
« on: Monday 18 May 20 07:57 BST (UK)  »
Hi
Bit of a long shot, as i don't have any information on the family other than the family name of Thompson.
Also the fact that they lived in Basford Cheshire in 1910.
Any information you can find would be great.

Thanks

Staffordshire / Help with the Jones's
« on: Sunday 21 April 19 19:26 BST (UK)  »
I would be greatful for any help, anyone can give me 😏, i know its not easy with being a Jones.
I have a Samuel Jones b 1849 who married AJane Hansall.
They had Three sons
Frederick John b 1879c my gg grandfather
James b 1870c
Samuel b 1877c

I know father Samuel died, and Jane the mother then married a James Turnock, so in some census the children are Turnock not Jones

I have traced Frederick and also Samuel

My problem is brother James b 1870 c.    Cannot find him in one cencus , the last i know is 1911 he is living with his mother Jane Turnock.
Did he marry when i could not find him ?   Did he marry after 1911 ? When did he die ? Did he have children ?

I know its not easy, and if anyone could take a look at him with new eyes i would be greatful
Lived in shelton / Hartshill
Thanks
Sue
