That makes more sense!  Many thanks Stan, clearly I need better glasses ::)

Now all I need to do is find who the parents were and what happened to them!

The Common Room / Strange census entry
« on: Friday 18 October 13 21:47 BST (UK)  »
Today I found a record for a child I think might be an ancestor I am looking for.  A child on the 1911 census, one year old with an unknown family.  Parents not present, and the entry for this infant which has her surname - just says 'missed child'.

Never come across this before...any help or suggestions as to what it might mean???

I am truly sorry about that, I really had no idea there was a reply as I have not been in Rootschat for months.  Great family sadness been going on since September last year and is on going.

New Zealand Completed Requests / McDermotts to New Zealand

I am looking for two brothers who went to New Zealand 1950/1960's.  One was John and the other Patrick (or Peter).  Their UK birthplace was Halifax, Yorkshire, England.

Any help/guidance would be appreciated

Bedfordshire / Re: Identifying Bedford Streets

Hi

Its a long time since you posted the above query - in case you are still looking, Russell Street does still exist and in the place you stated.

I have checked my local street map and it is listed - but typically so small that it literally is hidden by the join in two pages!
