Does anyone know where I can find a layout map of the cemetery. My grandmother, Hannah McClure is buried in Lair 764, Section 17. I believe my uncle John McClure ,and aunt, Annie McClure are also buried here, but, can find no trace of either. It was many years ago ,as a teenager when was last there. Intend to go soon, so, that map would be invaluable

Thanks so much, Isobel, this looks really promising. Can you tell me where you found the certificates, please. They seem to be eluding me.

Sorry could not reply earlier, Dawn, a bit of a family emergency. My enquiry was about Alexander Logan/Wilson, not about his living family. is that an acceptable query on here? I really was not aware of any restrictions ,so, apologise if my enquiry does not fit the remit of this forum

Will try to find these details. Alexander Logan may have been his original name, apparently changed it to Wilson when he deserted from the army. Can find a few "fits", but nothing definite so far. I am trying to get access to the birth certificate just now. All very odd

Re: RBT Wilson. Looking to find his parents, and seems Alexander Logan Wilson may have used the name Alexander Logan, as he was an army deserter, according to family memory. He was born in 1891 in Glasgow, and was known to have lived at 101 Shettleston Road. Any help would be most appreciated

I am trying to find the parents of RBT Wilson, born in or around Edinburgh on 12th February 1935.  I am trying to gather information on his parents, Alexander Logan Wilson, and Marion Wilson. I can find nothing at all on them, so, any information would be most appreciated.

They were Catholic, from Ireland. Sorry, have no further information. You can see why I'm struggling!

Hi, I got the limited information from a friend who was doing my cousin's tree. I got no further information. Robert and Elizabeth married in Ireland, then came to Glasgow, as far as I am aware
