Hi Gillian,

Yes i did get a reply and I have given him my contact details.
I think I may have sent you a message - some time ago? - your surname is very familiar (or I may be confused with someone else?)
I was keen to speak to Craig and have been following his  various informative posts.
I am intrigued - you say your mother has been busy as well?
Thanks for contacting me. I appreciate it.
George

I am looking closely at  this family. I have much information to share. Can anyone tell me how to contact Craig Ellery to discuss further?

Hello Alison

Thank you for your quick and courteous reply. I realise some of the posts are old now and I did not expect to hear from you but am very glad I did.

I fist saw your name in a conversation you were having with Craig (Ellerydesign) "re; Albert Edward Tudor born Wales 1875 lived in Niagra city"

In his reply he mentions the mother of Ruth Durie - Agnes McBeth - she is of great interest to me. She is my grandmothers, grand mother and bears the name of my deceased mother

Her son George Durie (my great grandfather) lived in Edinburgh Castle when he got married.

Craig's reply to you contained a lot of Durie information . Elsewhere he mentions the Macbeaths (Mcbeths)

Do you have any further information on the Durie or McBeth members?
Do you still keep in touch with Craig? He mentions access to critical marriage documents in St Patricks.
Is there any way I can show you what I have created (on familysearch.org ) or see your tree - I am new to this. sorry.

Whatever happens, I appreciate you getting in touch with me.
George

Hello Craig

Mary Jean Jullion de Junio cropped up in my family tree today. She was born in 1821 Halifax Nova Scotia and died 8 September 1888 Stirling Scotland. She is my great great great grandmother on my mother's side

She gave birth to my mothers great grandmother (same name) Agnes McBeath (or McBeth)  while at sea on 10 January 1847 . This is a big surprise to me. Did you get anywhere with your research? I would be  grateful to hear what you might know.

I was born in Edinburgh

George
