i am trying to trace joseph wood b1900 (birth registered 2nd qtr) in the 1901 census, any help appreciated.

could be he is my gt gt grandfather my gran was born in 1908
i know my gt gt grandmother was called jean

would it be possible to get a lookup for charles bruce in the 1901 census
i am unsure of his age  i would imagine he would be between 10 - 20 yrs old at the time, he later married  jean (oliver i think) or may already be married to her at this time

i am trying to find more information on David Strang who married Janet Dawson on 09 apr 1809.

i cannot seem to find any information on david's parents, there is quite a few strang marriages in kippen but i cant seem to find many birth records

any help would be appreciated

hi could you possibly look up a willam swinney b.1852 in the 1861 census

i have him in the 1881 census living @ 16 sandstell rd in tweedmouth (spittal)
aged 29

her parents were james swinney b.1805 & jane cowe b.1809

i have her siblings as
william b. 1830
Anne b.1841
john b.1842
james c b.1849
sarah jane b. 1852

i do not know if this could be another relative of yours:

margaret elliot b.1826(c) in spittal
married Eneas swinney b.1828 in spittal

there children were

mary b.1857
ann b. 1859
john b.1862
james b.1865
eneas b. 1867

i dont have any further info on him i'm sorry
he was the son of john swinney (swinhoe) & isabel hasker from berwick upon tweed. the family were mariners/ fishermen/miners
but im afraid thats all the information i have at this point
