Hi Doddsie4, that's great thanks, the marriage in 1911 looks likely to be them as it ties in, Susan died in 1962 and their son who was also Hugh was on the death cert. I suspect he's also died but I wondered if he had any siblings or children, when I was younger I vaguely remember talk that she had six sons although we never met them as my Nan who was Susan's sister moved to bristol

Hi everyone, a lot of people have been helping me trace relatives, I've now found out susan O'Donnell married Hugh Cameron and although she died in 1962 aged 70 years and the informant was her son also Hugh, she died 14/5/62 at the royal infirmary Glasgow Orr street , does anyone know anything about Hugh Cameron or indeed is he still alive or any children

Thanks

Great thanks, no not a lot for a life of hardship, I also note none of them could write! Hard times, I will get round to search what you suggest, would I be likely to find John O'Donnell in records?

Thanks for help

I noticed that, it seems wrong to me they had to wait or is that normal, might have been a lot of money in those days!

Thank you both very much, it's possible this is the family, fingers crossed, hopefully one of the daughters got married and had children , otherwise all traces would be lost, I'm also trying to find John O'Donnell family but that's proving more difficult

Thanks

Looking at links Anne Slevin from ardnagasson does seem very likely, taking into account district and age, what would be my next move to find out,any suggestions?

Thanks very much
