Hi Luke,
I spent a long time looking for my sisters grave who died 18 months old in 1931, she was the first born, we new the church where she was buried
, but could not find it and there was no record.
Then we met a elderly cousin and she told us that my mother and father could not afford the cost of the burial and she was put on the top of a coffin that was being buried, and that is why she says there was no record of her grave. Maybe, just maybe, this could be the problem, but best of luck,
regards Tom

Hi, I see that your G Grand father is Arthur Wildgoose Rhodes, he is my G Father's brother Walter Rhodes. i believe that Arthur and Walter father is a Richard Cotton Wildgoose.
His 2nd wife was Ada Longson (m)5th Aug 1917, 3rd no idea yet.
If you go to page 16/17 you will see your G Grand Fathers brother with his wife and my eldest brother.

Hi, I was looking down Root Chat when I saw the name Wildgoose.
I am going back to 1870 when Charlotte Rhodes who lived in Brampton gave birth to a son who she named  Arthur Wildgoose, Charlotte was not wed at that time, then three years later she gave birth to my Grandfather Walter again not wed, Both my daughter in-law and my self have been looking for the father of both Arthur and Walter for a long time.
So, the D in-law came up with, did charlotte give Arthur the middle name of his father, so we have looked every where even the bastardy bond, found nothing, so we are looking for any help at all.
So this is my question, is it possible that you had a relation called Richard Wildgoose who in the 1871 census lived at Brampton age 24 sadly already married who might have known Charlotte who was born 1847 which made her 24 years of age also.
Please, forgive me for surgesting that Richard if a relation got on his bike, but you might know something which could help, many thanks THOS.
