Thank you for that info! I was going to ask if these places were in one general area. All unfamiliar to me of course. Any idea what Culdue or Culclue could be? It is written on a piece of parchment that was torn and glued back together.

Thanks for your reply! Is there a churchyard attached to St James?

I need help! My Grandfather moved with his family from Ireland to Scotland somewhere between 1884 and 1891.
This much I know; ggfather William Clarke b.1842 Ballyvilley, married Ann Jane Loudon b. 1846Culdu?, Rev Ushers Meeting Ballymoney Dec 12th, 1872.
Children as follows
Samuel born 1873 Garryduff
Nancy Jane born 1874 Dunaverney
Margit? born Jul 1876 Dunaverney
William born 1878 Dunaverney
Isabella born Jul 1880 Dunaverney
Ellen born 1881 Dunaverney
Robert John ( my grandfather) born Rodinfoot? 1884

All family appear in the 1891 census Glasgow except Isabella & Margrit?/Margaret A.
I presume they died but don't know. Where would they be buried?
I have searched the 1911 Irish census but cant make any connections as there is too big a gap in time.
My question is could anyone give me further information on this family?
Parents of ggfather William are Samuel Clarke & Eleanora Stewart or Stuart.
Parents of Ann Jane Loudon or Lowdy are William Loudon and  Annie Bonar or Bonnar.
I would really appreciate any help at all as I have been stuck for a while. Have spent a lot of money on the scottish records, but can't come to Ireland as I live in Canada.
Please could someone look up any info on possible siblings from either side.

Have you tried The Mitchell Library, they have an online website with pictures of old Glasgow and it's pretty good.
