Certainly a senior moment, no wonder George was a widower he was born in 1890 so would of been George born 1821 father.  Sorry to have wasted your time.

I know I very likely never find out (unless I order a certificate but this person is so distant from my direct line I do not feel I can cover the cost)

George Albert Jefferies born 1921 Wandsworth, on the 1939 register he is a widower, he gets married again in 1940 to a Doris Crosby. Have found a marriage for George in 1936 to a Minnie V Leek who appears to have died in 1939 but in Bristol, why? the death was registered there. There is a 4th person on the 1939 register which could be a son also called George I found on the FreeBMD site born 1937, another child Maureen died age 0, mother's name was Leek.  Minnie was born in Greenwich and the continued to live there.  George Jefferies senior, did have relatives back in Bristol but that was back in the 1820's

Thank you for your help and advice. It was just a chance. Ancestry was coming up with emigration entries that I could not open and they may not even relate to Pamela,

Looking for information on Pamela Joan Lewis born 1919 Winchester Hampshire UK, parents Henry and Edith Lewis.  Sometime I do not know which year Pamela moved to the USA, married and divorced and eventually returned to England. Pamela died in 1986.

I do not have access to world records on ancestry so hoping someone can help.

Any information given will be appreciated
