Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Re: Help needed on Hugh houghton

Hi Amber

Thanks for helping, on his marriage certificate it gives his address at time of residence as Bridgend South wales.
The only Hugh Houghton I could find on the 1901 census was an engineers labourer aged 16 living with someone and down as his adopted son, so that would assume both parents were dead by 1901, that  census says he was born in birmingham, 78, Avenue road. civil parish Tottenham

Hi Jan and Peter

Some news for you remember me saying that the birth certificate I had for Levi stated that it was a girl, wellllll, thanks to Peter's suggestion I wrote to GRO and asked them to check explaining everything, and after all the checks they have decided that Levi was indeed a boy and are going to alter certificate if I agree although the original entry will still be remain visable.
Still no news on Evan though blanks everywhere, Hope you have a nice holiday Jan.

Hi Jan

yes I have a scanner, butttttttt I'm going to sound thick now but how do I post it onto this site  ??? ???

In the parish register Jane Lewis was born on 18 march 1836 bap: 20 march 1836 at The Tabernacle, Llanfyllin, father Oliver Lewis mother Jane Davies. With this information that's why I thought they may have given the wrong maiden name ::)

You know guy's wer'e getting there slowly but surely to quote Jan There out there somewhere.  :-\ :-\
