Armed Forces / Uniform help please

Hi, I was wondering if any of you lovely people could help me out with my 2x great grandfather's military uniform please. All I know about him is that his name is George Baker not sure when or where he was born. He married (no record of that!), Eliza Philips born 1851, and they lived in the Woolwich and Plumstead area. He doesn't appear on any census with Eliza though he is in the electoral roles at her address. He disappears from them after 1891. All I have are photos so his military record is my last hope of finding any info on him. Thank you

Thank you, he was convicted at the Old Bailey, but we already have all his prison and court records, we were looking for a petition for a pardon.

England / Records of Criminal Pardons

hi, I'm researching two brothers, John Gilson b.1817 and Edward Gilson b.1819 who were convicted in 1838 of larceny and both sentenced to 7 years transportation, Edward was transported in 1839, but John was never transported and was Pardoned in England in 1842, can anyone tell me if there are any records available for pardons around this time as I am having trouble finding any other information.
 Thank you
