By the way, there was another Mary Ann Bennion baptised  in Over on 30 October 1831, but she was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth. FamilySearch has got these two mixed up.

This Mary Ann was still single and living with her parents in 1851. She married William Bowyer in 1858. Elizabeth Bennion was living with them in 1871. (RG10/3699/126/P37)

Hi appl3jack,
I know it's a while since you posted this question, so you've probably got more information by now.

However, just in case:

So far as I can tell, Mary Ann's mother was Martha Furnivall from Moreton-cum-Alcumlow, who married Thomas Bennion on 29 Aug 1822 in Astbury.

Their children were;
John, baptised 7 Dec 1822 in Congleton,
George, baptised 26 Feb 1826 in Astbury,
Mary Ann, baptised 21 Feb 1830 in Over (Winsford),
Hannah, baptised 10 July 1836 in Over.

John married Elizabeth Pemberton, 3 Nov 1846 at St Wilfrid's, Davenham.
George married Alice Bromfield, 28 Sep 1846 at St Wilfrid's, Davenham.
Mary Ann married William Senior, 8 Dec 1849 at St Mary's, Great Budworth.

Hannah never married. Mary Ann was widowed and living with Hannah in Chorlton on Medlock (Manchester) in 1891 (RG12/3184/127/15).

Sutherland / Re: Durness Parish Register

Hello, I've noticed the kind offers of help and the detailed replies you've been giving and wondered if you've come across my Mackays?  One of my ancestors, Thomas Louttit, married Margaret Mackay in 1837 in Rousay. She states her age in 1841 as 36 and born Dornoch.  I found a baptism in Durness by Dornoch on Scotlands People and Ancestry show:
John Mackay in Sartigrim, shepherd from Strathy, and ... Margaret Mackay, Margaret 21 Jun 1805 West Moine Mission Baptisms. Sutherland: Durness - Parish Registers, 1764-1814  Margaret died about 1851/2.  I have also wondered if she had been a widow and not born Mackay but that's just because of her age when she married Thomas.  I hope you don't mind me asking if you've noticed that particular Margaret or if you've already linked her with someone, as if you have I'd need to look for someone else?  Hope you can help
Kind Regards
Hazel
