The Common Room / Re: Opera Singer ?

Thankyou all, I think I far prefer my fellow sitting on the wall - in fact I have gone right off Caruso.

Maybe I was never meant to give him a name!

Best wishes all,   Annette

Certainly this could have been the case.  Gee I wish I was one of those teenagers again!

I will definitely explore the possibility of Caruso sitting in my dining room with me.  Yes sounds good to me.

Thankyou,  Annette

It is strange but I had not considered anyone so famous.

I will go looking at pictures now - thankyou for your suggestion to compare.

Many thanks,   Annette

The Common Room / Opera Singer ?

Hi, could someone please identify the subject of this photo - the family think he was an opera singer. He was painted by my husband's aunt when she was 15 years old in 1929.
Thank you.
Annette.

That is interesting ,    JM.   I would not have considered a colour other than black but I will try an ink blue.
Yes I do like Lucinda.

Will do some testing.   Thankyou,

Annette

Thankyou Annie.   I do not think I will be framing it but It will be quite big and I love the fonts used on TV genealogy shows.   I know handwritten ones are super but the  computer will be fine for me and to unroll the work is exciting.

I have linked my husband's tree back to the Vikings - yes I know it really isn't proven but I was thrilled to go back so far.   I will have to give it some thought.  But do love all those kings!

Thankyou again,    Annette

Please a suggestion for the  nicest font for a family tree.   Not too plain but readable.

Many thanks,   Annette

Caty, many thanks for the interesting information.

I will have to get back to my Sinclairs again - where has all the time gone?

Take care,   Anne
