I had a look on the burial index CD from Shropshire Family History Society to see if Eleanor's husband is listed, sadly he's not.

If you look up Eleanor Nurs you get an entry in the first quarter of 1848 - Shifnal.
Is this the lady you could be looking for?

Hello - I'm seeking some advice about an email address.
Someone has contacted me about a family in my tree. They found an old query of mine on Ancestry, and then made contact through the contact box on my website. I'm not 100% sure about validity of the email address. For the sake of the explanation, I'll use my handle:
boosh@inode.at
That's it!
It looks a bit odd to me. I'd like to make contact, but I'd hate to open up a can of worms, or am I being too cautious? Any wise words gratefully received.

I have just looked on the Shropshire Family History Society's CD of marriages and it has the following entry:
Nathaniel Porter married Esther Perks on 18 March 1831 in Sheriffhales. There are no other details provided on the record.
