Hi again Kirsty,
Do you have access to Ancestry.Com?
I presume you have the M/C of Charles/Mary Jane 1881?
If not it names their Fathers as William Byfield, Occp Fitter and Joseph Ladds a Blacksmith.

1851 Census
Willm Byfield   26
Selina Byfield   25
Selina Byfield   5
Wm Byfield   3
Amelia Byfield   1
Edward Byfield   7 mths

1861 Census
Cottage next to 224,
Aston, Warwickshire
William Byfield   36 Head Mar Engine Fitter
Selina Byfield   35
Selina Byfield   15
William Byfield   13
Amelia Byfield   11
Edward Byfield   10
Joseph Byfield   7
Elizh Byfield   4
CHARLES Byfield 1****

1871 Census
William Byfield   47
Selina Byfield   47
William Byfield   24
Maria Byfield (Amelia) 22
Elizabeth Byfield   15
Joseph Byfield   18
CHARLES Byfield 12****
Henry Byfield   7

1881 Census
William Byfield   51
Selina Byfield   57
Joseph Byfield   27
CHARLES Byfield 21 Engine Fitter****
Henry Byfield   19
Kath Byfield   15 Neice

So 7 siblings for Charles by my calculations.

6 Apr 1845, Aston, St Peter and St Paul, Warwickshire
William BYFIELD Occp Engine Fitter, Father THOMAS Byfield a Labourer
Selina MARKES, Father ISAAC Markes a Carpenter
Both were Minors (under 21)
Both made their mark (did not sign)

If you want more it may be best to start a new query on the Warwickshire Board (add a link to this info so others dont go over what has already been found by me)

The reason is this was a query on the Northamptonshire Board and not related to your Byfields.

Also there is no need to quote info I have posted just ask you question as it just takes up space.

Trish :)

Hi all.
I've been away for a few days and see lots of progress has been made and Isaacs Bapt/ Parents confirmed.

Grace BURNEL/L christened 4 December 1768, St. Mary's, Yate, Gloucester
(Source Familysearch.Org)

Henry/Tabitha seem to have a lot of children 1755-1771 Yate.

I cant find the Marriage 1751-1755 anywhere in England on F/S.Org.

Henry may have been christened 5 December 1725, St. Mary's, Yate, Father HENRY Burnell

Burial Date: 5 Jun 1775
Burial Place: St. Mary'S, Yate, Gloucester, England
Spouse H Burnett
(Source Ancestry)

I would search Marriages 1921-1926 in Wortley Reg District on FreeBMD and see if anything matches someone in your Tree.

I see you have several Family names that were in Stockbridge.

Trish :)

Lookas like a Brother for William.

1841 Census
Packington, Leics
George Tindall, 30, Coal Miner
Phebe Tindall, 30
Marie Tindall, 7
Hannah Tindall, 5
Elizabeth Tindal, 4
Catharine Tindall, 2 mths
Harriet Stones, 13

All NOT born in County except for Harriet Stones

1851 Census George LINDALL (Tindall) is born c 1790 Eastwood, Nottinghamshire (age 61)
Image is age 41 so born c 1811***

FreeREG has Baptisms for GEORGE/PHEBE/Phoebe  St Wilfrid :Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
MARY ANN 27 Oct 1833
HANNAH 13 Sep 1835
ELIZABETH 10 Sep 1837
ELIZA 01 Mar 1840, buried 13 Mar 1840 age 2 weeks
(Various spellings of surname, used soundex option)

ANN Tindell was Bapt same Church 22 Aug 1839 to WILLIAM/EMMA

George married Phoebe Stone 24 Sep 1832 but the witnesses are no help.

It may be worth noting this Marriage for the future;

John TINDAL of Greasley Parish to Mary COOPER    23 Apr 1805, St Mary, Eastwood, Nottinghamshire

All above on FreeREG

Maria may be Mary Cox 1851 Census and living in Warwickshire with her Aunt/Uncle, Charles/Sarah Godwin.

Charles married Sarah Cox 29 Apr 1822 Hempstead, Gloucestershire
Both of Littleworth Hamlet

Sarah Cox was Bapt 21 Feb 1802 Yate, Glos to THOMAS/GRACE

Now a THOMAS/GRACE Cox Bapt a ISAAC Cox 3 Nov 1799, St. Mary-Northgate, Canterbury, Kent

I may be way off here but seems too much of a coincidence to me?

Yes it may not be the same couple but people also changed occp's for various reasons.

But as Maria 1831 does not appear on any Census with Parents named Isaac/Maria I think that she is the Daug of your couple.
