Helina,

So; never accept information from others (and that includes trees found anywhere) unless verifiable and reliable source information such as PR's, censuses etc. is also given.   Even if you are unable to verify the data yourself, it may help others when you help them in later years.

Regards

Chas

Helina,

Free bmd only gives the 1907 birth registration and there's no death recorded between then and 1909; so I reckon the 1907 info. to be more reliable than that for the 1909.

Did you perhaps make an error when looking in Ancestry and recorded another date or whatever?   ;)  Perhaps some Chatter with an Ancestry account could check it out.  I'm unable to do so - my wife's computer is unavailable and she has the account.

Regards.

D,

So as Maisemore burials are given in the National Burial Index edition 2 and disc 4 goes up to 2003, I thought, "Great".

But alas, the Maisemore entries stop  in the 1850's and unless Ed. 3 of the NBI  covers Maisemore's later years and some Chatter comes up with the answer, you'll have to buy at least one d-cert.

Regards

Chas

P.S.,

But, there's always hope of a Chatter being a Maisemore inhabitant. :)  Chas

C. B.

The LDS has only filmed the Bishop's transcripts of the chapelry of Winson in the parish of Bibury for the years 1669 to 1770 - film number 417123 Item 3 - and Item 2 of the same film covers the Bibury BT's 1740 to 1749.  No information has been extracted from the films hence no batch to be found at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountryEngland.htm  See also the LDS Library catalogue.

The fact that the LDS has no film of the PR's is unusual and may mean that there are none.   This seems to be borne out by the fact that a Gloucester Record Office search for Lees shows none either but others may know better.  See http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/genealogy/Search.aspx

J,

Not much compared to what you've been told but whilst helping another Chatter with trade directories I had a look for Mabyn in the Mathews's 1851 directory via the Gloucestershire Trade directories link in the Resources Messages Index - first hit was a success I think.

Liz,

Following your last, I found Palmer William & Co wholesale grocers at 55 Redcliff Street on page 302 of Kelly's 1902 directory for Bristol.

The very next entry is for another Palmer William & Son bakers at 410 Gloucester Road.

From the above, it appears that there were two William Palmers.

Liz,

I've not looked, but you might find something in the trade directories at
