Scotmum, your link looks interesting.  I have an appointment to keep now, I'll look into it more deeply this evening and let you know how I get on.

I did try a restore point lastnight - no luck.  I have my tree on Ancestry, but not all my notes etc.

Thank you again.

Thank you Pheno, going over to look at the link you provided.

Scotmum, of course you are right. I've been slack recently as had family illnesses to deal with.  Thank you.

I've just seen this, xinia.  I've posted about the same problem but don't seem to have even a file for FTM, there's nothing relating to FTM on my laptop.  I'm on windows 10, are you?

It is worrying how it can happen, isn't it.

I was pleased to read you can upload it for free from where you purchased it, I can't do that as don't remember where I purchased it from.

Have you now sorted things out?

I'm hoping someone can help me.  My FTM programme has disappeared from my windows 10 laptop.  I've carried out intensive searches but it is not to be seen.  I looked in 'add and delete programmes'  Searched for a file, but found nothing related to FTM.  I'm feeling very frustrated as all my notes, etc are on their.  I do have a tree on Ancestry but it's not as comprehensive as my FTM tree.

Can anyone offer suggestions of help, I find it worrying as if FTM can just disappear what else may I lose, and how does it happen?

Joseph and Hannah also had a dau Selina born Aug 17th 1845, baptised Sept 7th 1845 at Gainsborough, dau of Hannah and Joseph an iron moulder.

buried March 25th 1846 Gainsborough

Not finding your Selina, but you did say you'd like to find out more about her family.  I think Joseph having a dau Selina strengthens the link between him and your Selina.

A couple of baptisms, parents Hannah and Joseph a moulder (Selina's brother?) Enter Rowark in the surname box.
