Kent Lookup Requests / Re: Birth & Marriage Look up in Lee, Kent
« on: Thursday 13 August 09 16:46 BST (UK)  »
Hi Casalguidi

Thanks ever so much for your help and your time, it was very nice of you. I did have a little niggle at the back of my mind that it might not show Sarah's maiden name I suppose I was just hoping it would.  Still never mind you have given me a bit of info that maybe I can work on and hopefully will discover something.

The trouble with my lot is that the names are so common and there are quite a few George and Sarah's.

I wish they could have stayed in one place and stated the right area they was born in, talk about a head-ache  ;D.

Anyway once again thank you so much,
Regards
Kim

Kent Lookup Requests / Birth & Marriage Look up in Lee, Kent

Hi all

Could SKS look up a the birth of Richard George Russell bn 1818 Lee, Kent I have found it on the IGI with siblings of his who are
              Recelia bn 1816 Lee
              Rachael bn 1812 Lee
but none has mothers maiden name which is what I am looking for and hoping to find.
Parents names are George Russell and Sarah ?

If Sarah's maiden name is there would it be possible to look for the marriage of them, and maybe it will say who their fathers are, hopefully this brick wall will finally come down.

Hoping some one can help me,
Thank you for your time and trouble

The person that I am looking for is

George Russell bn C1776-80 on his sons marriage cert his occupation is a treenail maker, Im sorry but do not know what area he is from, his children were baptised in Lee, Kent if that helps.
Also wife was Sarah bn C1786-90.
Sorry but that is all the info I have.

Would like to say thank you very much for your time and trouble.

Hi Ricky

Thank you so much for that, Thomas who is 3mths old is down as Folkestone on the 71,81,91,01 Census I wonder if the others are from there also.

It would be great if I could find his birth and his mother and fathers marriage but like everyone else I hit a brick wall on not finding them   :'(  , seems like they dont want me to have their certificate lol,
it would be so much easier if they had a different surname.

Anyway thank you once again,
Kim

He maybe married wife name Emma bn around same time, his parents are
William White bn c1785 and Mary Ann bn c1785 possibly Kent area.

If you could possibly find any of these I would be very grateful,
thank you for your time and trouble.

I was wondering if SKS could possibly look up a marriage for me, it is of
Joseph Bilbe & Sarah Weekes possibly around 1805 -1810 possibly in the area of Minster, Sheppey, Sheerness as Sarah and their son was born in the area so I am presuming they may have married there.

Also if it is not to much to ask possibly the births of Joseph & Sarah
Joseph BILBE bn c1785
sorry but this is all I have on Joseph beings as he was not alive for the 1841 census.
Sarah WEEKES bn c1790 Sheerness.

Thank you very much for your time and trouble
