Dorset / Printouts from microfilmed copies
« on: Thursday 30 June 11 05:33 BST (UK)  »
Who would be the kind soul who could do printouts from microfilmed copies at the local Dorset history centres ? It is obvious that I would pay for this (even before the job if wanted).I am French with English ancestors and being retired with a poor pension I couldn't afford 9.5£ acts and this solution is far much cheaper.
With my warmest thanks and friendship from France.

Bonsoir Harry,
The idea was excellent , so lots of  MERCI. I visited the site for my DAVIDGEs but for my WEBBERS, GRANGERS, FARNHAMS and BISHOPS* in Dorset and Somersetbut unfortunately I couln't find any member of my relatives.
* The number of Elizabeth BISHOPS existing in England is fascinating. If you shout "Elizabeth BISHOP" you will have an army around you.

Bonjour Psusennes,
William and Jane had another son  Robert (my direct ancestor) born December 26th in Wooton Fitzpaine (I would like a photo of this act). Robert married Mary FARNHAM in 1805 and their daughter Ann WEBBER (b 1807)was my ggmother.
Robert and Mary emigrated to Australia.

Bonsoir Psusennes,
That would be more than kind. Being on the other side of the river Channel , it is rather uneasy to research my English ancestors in Dorset and Somerset.
                                          Bien amicalement .   Jean-Marie

Bonjour,
My 5 xg father William WEBBER married a Jane SYMES in Beaminster Dorset on November 11th 1767 .
She is said to be born in Child Hay (part of Broadwindsor) .
I know nothing about her origin : baptism (date and place) ?, parents ? .
She died in Child hay on February 22nd 1821.

Would some one know her ? Merci   Jean-Marie from FRANCE
