I too had my email hacked with all those on my contact list receiving a request for money to help me get home from Wales, where I had been mugged.  I have had to change my email address, not just my password, and would like to change my email address on file with Rootschat.  Any help on how to do this?

Thank you, Dave, for that very interesting news item.  Where did that report come from, what was your source, and how can I get a copy from that source???  That is very cool info.  Thanks again.

Dear Migky and Mo...Thanks for your replies.   I have all that info but what I want to find is a way to confirm that the Michael and sons listed  in the 1881 census are truly  the same that married Elizabeth Barker Sykes and family.  I'm sure they are because they lived just down the street from each other in 1891.  It's some kind of official documentation or anecdotal confirmation I'm in search of.  That is why I was hoping to connect with a descendant of Michael Fitzpatrick's three boys by his first marriage.
I appreciate your input.

Lancashire / FITZPATRICK/SYKES ...1894

In 1894, the widow, Elizbeth Sykes (nee Barker), married the widower, Michael Fitzpatrick, the father of three sons from his first marriage.  Michael's father is listed on the marriage certificate as Peter - deceased.  I am trying to  search for these three sons.  The youngest is listed with his stepmother in the 1901 census...name John K. Fitzpatrick, 1884.  (His father died in1899).  Any help would be appreciated.

Devon / Inn at Forches Corner, Clayhidon???
« on: Wednesday 02 June 10 04:22 BST (UK)  »
I've just received the BC of my husband's grandfather, SAMUEL BALE, born 1867 in Forches Corner, Clayhidon to Thomas Bale and Annie Bartlett.  Thomas is listed as an INNKEEPER.  I'm wondering if anyone would know the name of an inn in Forches Corner at that time and if there might be a picture somewhere???

Hi folks...On the BC of my husband's grandfather, it states that he was born at Brynews issa, St. Dogmells.  Is this a village or a farm???  His name was DAVID JAMES LADD, son of  WILLIAM LADD AND PHOEBE DAVIES, 1881.  Thanks

Thanks to you all for responding.
Cal, unfortunately I'm unable to scan or enter a picture.
However, Osprey, I think you've nailed the correct spelling for the Griffith residence...thank you for that and also , thanks again for your previous help with the Ladd family.
Orielbenfro, thank you for the instructions regarding Google maps.  I shall check that out directly.

thanks again to you all.

Pembrokeshire / Help deciphering marriage certificate location???
« on: Monday 05 April 10 22:22 BST (UK)  »
I've just received the marriage certificate of  my husband's gt-grandparents in Wales and I cannot make out the name of the bride's residence.  Her name was Mary Anne Griffith [father - Llewelin Griffith] and in 1846 she was living at:  Pontshydycei?t in the parish of Manerdify.  However, that spelling is open to correction.  Any help with possibilities would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Patricia
ps. her spouse's name was David Ladd of Trewidwal, Parish of St. Dogw[m]ells
