I can't find a birth for an Emma Bend around 1858 with father Samuel or even father Sansum.

Have I been mistaken all these years and Fanny and Emma are not sisters?

It looks like I need to do some backtracking.

Now I need to find where I originally got information that Fanny Bends father was Sansun.
I hope I did proper research all those years ago when working on Fanny's line.

Haven’t got chance this evening to add all the details to these baptisms in Leicestershire for

I think that just about wraps up this thread, except for Alice Bell, I don't have a death for her or a potential marriage, or children.

I actually knew Alice, I used to visit with Elsie in the late 60s early 70s, she always seemed at home in Wheelock and I have a feeling she probably stayed there, where as Elsie at some point returned to Manchester as she married my grandfather in 1930, although I don't know when she returned, the 1921 census might offer up some clues though.

Do you have Alice's exact date of birth, if so, you could use that date to look for her on the 1939 register.

Elsie’s 1930 marriage her address 110 Taylorson Street, Salford, one witness was
William BELL. If available online perhaps check the Electoral Register for that address.

It looks as if Alice is with her father and sister in Salford

Can I ask whereabouts her mother died in 1907?  Only there was a Clutton death in Manchester which might link the two.  Think it was Jane but right age.

Just looked through my notes and I cant find the evidence, I'll have to do a re-trawl I think.

Not that this helps with finding the correct death entry for Mary Ann Bell

For info.

The 1911 census with Elsie & Alice Bell with their Aunt Sarah Jane Clutton
they are listed as granddaughters and daughter. If you look at the front schedule page address
14 Game Street Wheelock Sandbach name Mrs Sheckleston.
I believe she is Sarah Jane Clutton's mother

1911 census Sarah J Sheckleston age 53 born Renbury, Cheshire married  to James Sheckleston (years married 2) can't make out the name of the vessel

Parents of William Williams , Mother Mary {Robson Thomas ??) b.1830 S. Wales. Father John Thomas Williams[/b] believed to be born 1815 in Wales.

They had an older child John Thomas Williams possibly b.1857 d.1920 Wales

GRO indexes shows mmn if not illegimate - I can’t see a William mmn Robson there are quite a number of births with mmn Thomas born 1863. https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/login.asp
Do you have his exact date of birth?

Looking at the census record his father John has middle initial ‘P’  ???

george horatio dinnen otherwise horatio dinnen death record corrected 3/8/1910
by me edward p fenton superintendent register on production of a statuttory declaration made by mary ann dinnen and maria howe

mary ann dinnen could be either wife of george or my late great grandmother who shared the same name

On the 1910 statutory declaration does it give an address for Mary Ann Dinnen?

If Mary Ann is still living she should be on the 1911 census. I can't see any deaths on FreeBMD after
 Jun qtr. 1910 for a Mary A Dinnen  ???

There is one in 1912 Greenwich for a Maria Howe age 82 :-\ she could possibly be living 14 Simla Street Greenwich in 1901 and same address 1911
