From last nights TV about the man that stole the World Cup , I can’t find his death recorded.
Born and lived in South London, Walworth. I knew the man so would like to know more about him .
Thanks Roy

Thanks Josey, that’s a good point about the death of her husband and the solicitors. So maybe the Hove/Brighton connection is where she was tracked down to.
Thought that the Solicitor maybe tracking her down about her son she had before her marriage to Albert Spear. She was a servant in a grand house in Chelsea so say no more. The boy was brought up by others and financed by that family .
Sorry no exact DOB for Sarah .

Sarah Stevens Currell B1890 Swanbourne Buckinghamshire . Married 26/8/1914 to Albert Edward Spear under the name of Cissie Stevens Currell .
In 1911 census she was a servant in Chelsea and then was living in Hounslow at 59 Heath Road until about 1921
Press cutting for about 1947 she was being looked for by solicitors .
Maybe a Hove/Brighton connection in the 40,s

Looking for her death ? Any thoughts .
Thanks

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Re: Smith lookup please .

Thanks for that everybody , got the 2 children’s names now , although the 1891 census puts the fathers age wrong and DOB wrong . And also it is Jane Hall not Hill so it clears that up as well .

Arthur Smith born 1860 in Lowestoft married Jane Hill B1863 in 1889
1901 sees them living in Battersea with children Frederick B1892 , Daisy B1894 , Twins Harry and Alfred (William) B1899 all children born in Battersea .

1911 they are in Lombard Dwellings Battersea with now Edward B1902 .

But 1911 Census says children born 7, children died 2 . Who were they and when did they die ?

Does the 1891 Census give us any clues about these children .

Thanks Roy
