OK, I have found Catherine Johnston, and she died on 27th September 1907 at 2 Keir Street, Edinburgh, parents were John Johnston and Margaret Hunter. She was born on 30th November 1819, and baptised on 27th December 1819.

Does anyone know who the mother of Catherine Johnston was?
Her father was a John Johnston.

Did she die shortly after Euphemia was born?

Might there be a headstone for her in Edinburgh.

Did David Neil die in 1858?

Thanks
Tony

I have been trying to trace the death record of Captain Andrew Garrick without success. Is anyone able to advise if death records were raised for the other lost members of the crew?
I'm just supposing that all the death records may have been produced at the same time.
I also see no record of a memorial to Andrew at any cemetery.

Shetland / Re: North Mavine Williamsons

Is there anyone with an interest in the Williamsons who were in North Mavine in the late 18th century?  I know there were a lot of Williamsons; my ancestor was Gilbert, born in 1770 to John Williamson and Grisel Scott.  Any information would be appreciated.
I'm interested in all Shetland families, trouble is that documentary evidence is so sparse that, such as with this family, nothing exists prior to John and Grisel.
