Thanks all,
I have tracked down all my relatives up to John Southey, I think he was my first line to live in this village trying to find a birth place for  John Southey around the turn of 1790 to 1800. Maybe I have to go and visit the parish to find out more. Once again thanks for the help.

Regards

Thanks Rick I will add it to the info I already have and  see if it matches up. Didn't realize how complicated and addictive this thing can get. I think my best bet is to track down Williams birth certificate.

Please could someone have a look to see if there is a
William Sibley living in St.Pancras in the 1861 census.
The age will  be between 20 and 11.

Iria,
Thanks for that, sounds quite promising there is a Turnham Green in Middlesex but the problem is there are quite a few Sibley families in London.I will try to find out in the 1861 census to see where he was then and maybe try looking at the deaths on 1837 website to see if any of his wives died. But hopefully you are pointing in the right direction.

Is there anyone who could help me as the censuses from 1881 and 1891 are not quite matching up. I am tracing my family Sibley from St.Pancras but Iam getting a little confused, I have traced back to my great great grand father William Sibley back to 222 Arlington road where he worked as a Pianoforte maker in both censuses. But his age changes and so does his wives, In the 1881 census it states he was married to Catherine but in the 1891 census it states he was married to Caroline, which matches my great grandfathers birth certificate. If anyone
has any more info about any of them it would be greatly appreciated as Iam trying to assemble this for my father.

I am looking for some help, I have traced my family back to the early 1800s, My great great great grandfather John Southey married Louisa Thorn at Great Durnford in 1817. I am looking for any more information that might lead to me finding out where he was born, or if anyone knows how I could obtain a marriage certificate etc it would be greatly appreciated.

ADI,
I wonder if could help, I traced my family back to 1881 to Arlington road ST. Pancras their name is Sibley and the head of the family is William who was a Pianoforte maker .I am looking for anymore info you might be able to help with although the 1881 and 1891 censuses don't quite match up,both the other censuses do state he was born in St.Pancras, so Iam hoping he will show up in earlier censuses .
