Hi,
From St Peters, Wolves.
I have Jane 1806,Ann 1808,Elizabeth 1813, Samuel 1814 d.1814 and Elias 1818
All Sam & Mary
Martha 1820, Ann 1823, Samuel 1825 d.1826, Emily 1827, Louisa 1829 Samuel 1832.
All Sam & Martha
Rest are Sam & Charlotte’s
A mixture of the above appear on 1841 and/or 1851 with Sam & Charlotte.

If Jane 1806 is our Sam’s he would be 17 or 18
Occupation of father from 1813 was Key maker and from1818 was Locksmith

No marriage to a Mary found as yet.
It has been a puzzle for years ! Seems he may have had three families.
Sorry to bore you with this
Regards

Yes thanks BumbleB,
Samuel married a Martha Fair in 1814 Penn, Wolverhampton which is what prompted me when I saw the probate linking the two surnames on Familysearch.
Hence the Staffs post.
Regards

Ps The Mary / Martha has always been a puzzle as Elias bap. 1818

Hi All,
Is my memory playing tricks or was there a pub in the ‘60s on the site now occupied by The Chestnut Tree in Finchfield Wolverhampton ?
Please put my mind at ease.

Hi all,
Joseph Hemus ( Amos ) and Catherine had children- Peter 1815, Mary 1812 and
Caroline 1822 bap. In Angle can anyone help with Caroline’s maiden name please?
They are listed in 1841 etc in the Pershore area Glos.
Peter & Mary are under the name Amos on familysearch births.
Any marriage details of Joseph & Catherine would be appreciated.
Regards and a Happy New Year
