If you look on the Clwyd Family history society site, press on miscellaneous, then genealogy links, then local links near the bottom and lastly names from Clwyd - you should find exactly what you are looking for.
Best wishes

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Re: Father of the groom
« on: Friday 12 February 21 11:41 GMT (UK)  »
Thanks for the further help.
I’m ok on Welsh records but as usual have need to look at Joseph on the 1841 census which is missing.
Not much new for Denbighshire on Find my past I’m afraid.
Useful to know about access to Liverpool records. I’d missed that.

That’s brilliant BumbleB. Thanks for the speedy service and I think it is back to Denbighshire which I should be ok on.

Lancashire Lookup Requests / COMPLETED. Father of the groom
« on: Friday 12 February 21 08:44 GMT (UK)  »
If anyone has access to Liverpool St Silas Church records I would be grateful for the name of the groom’s father and occupation and where the groom was living in the following marriage:
Robert Eyton-Jones and Ada Wright who married on the 16 August 1896 according to Family Search.
The details are not yet available on Lancashire on line Parish clerks.
Thanks for any help.

Hi
John Adam is residing in HARDcastle Street and not Castle street. Castle st is shown as the address on Ancestry but if you look at the actual register you will see it is an error as per my post 24 Nov. I was thrown by that as well to start with. He was already retired in 1939 so I do not know where he had the business.
Thanks for your interest.

I have now received the PDF death certificate and this confirms that it is John Adam Edwards , retired
Retail grocer of 31 Hardcastle St, Stockport. The informant was a brother in law and his surname Curran has enabled me to trace the marriage. Still looking for possible children.
All in all a most successful post and thanks to everyone and particularly to Willyam especially mentioning the PDF route which is very useful and will save money!!
