This is the info I have so far:
John Nichols m Elizabeth Denny Sept 27, 1825 at St Simon & St Jude,
Castlethorpe. Children: James 1826/7, Benjamin 1828, Robert 1831,
Sarah 1833, Edward 1835, Rebecca 1838, Andrew 1840. All born in
Castlethorpe.
The Benjamin above married Jane Pearce/Pierce Dec 22, 1853 at St
Lawrence Church, Bourton-on-the-Water. Children in 1861 census:
James 1856, William 1857, Ann 1859, Andrew 6 mths, Benjamin 1865,
Henry Edward 1867. This was Ben's 1st marriage.
Benjamin's 2nd marriage was to Jane Mobbs 17 April, 1869 in Stoke
Goldington. Children: Alice may 1869, Alice 1870, Joseph 1871/2,
Ellen 1874, Amelia 1876, Sarah Ann 1878, Mary 1880, Catherine
1885, Christopher Thomas 1890. All born in Stoke Goldington except
Mary in Lathbury. Note: There is a Jane Mobbs in Stoke Goldington
who was married to a Samuel at the same time as Benjamin!
Assume this is a different person.
Andrew Nichols m Mary Jane Smith at St James Church, Hanslope on April
22, 1879. Children George 1881, Frederick 1879, William J 1882. Mary
Jane died Jan 9, 1884 aged 27. Buried in Hanslope.
2nd marriage to Ann Elizabeth Richardson at St James Church, Hanslope on
Feb 17, 1885. Children: Jane 1885, Albert 1886, Robert 1888, James 1889,
Emily 1892, Charles 1893, Kitty 1896/7, Thomas 1898. Also Harry
Richardson (stepson) born 1881 in Hartwell. James died 1918, Thomas
died 1982, Harry died 1970 in Redbourn.
Albert Nichols who was born in 1886 (died 1954) was my father's father.
Hope this all makes sense. Feel free to question anything I have put.
